It was nice, very friendly family. But you can not serve (cold) pre-cooked pasta for 12 € on warm sauce. Please never do that again, a pity.

How these positive reviews come about is a mystery to me. The food is really bad, and absolutely not recommended. The onion roast is absolutely dead fried very dry and to compare with a shoe sole. The Kaiserschmarrn is a frozen food and is simply fried and not edible, I am very disappointed because the prices are already raised for the goods, it is not appropriate. Would not give a star but that's not, this place is not recommended.

Excellent service and quality, which added to the privileged location next to the entrance of the Castle make the restaurant obligatory for those who come to Idstein

We were served very well and quickly. The appetizer was delicious. The main course too. The dessert has rounded off the evening. Overall, very pleasant and recommended.

We were there on Sunday. A meal was brought wrong. The meat was tough and inedible. The fish inside still raw and the salad there was a olles roll. Good for the restaurant that there are the many tourists. We are up close and will definitely not eat there again.

Nice, cozy restaurant. Good choice of dishes. Sympathetic staff, only minus noisy retirees. In places, they roared as if the whole restaurant were just theirs. The food itself is very tasty and good. In terms of quantity also good. A romantic place, typical of Germany.

I was there at the Idstein Spring Festival and ate a very tasty salad with poultry. The service was very attentive and nice.

Moved from Bayern to Hessen, Schweinbraten with Octoberfest beer not bad,but can be better. Nürnberg sausage is very good.Rumstake is better than the one from wiesbanden Webers .
